Q.01Who's Advocato for?
Small-to-medium service businesses in Southeast Asia that grow primarily through word-of-mouth — real estate agents, contractors, solar installers, consultants, agencies, salons, tutors. If your best customers come from referrals, Advocato is for you.
Q.02How is this different from a normal CRM?
Most CRMs treat referrals as an afterthought — a tag, a notes field. Advocato is built around the referral. Every link attributes back to a referrer, every closed deal triggers a reward calculation, and the referrer can watch the deal move down the pipeline in real time.
Q.03Do you process the reward payouts?
No. Advocato tracks who gets paid what and when, but you (the provider) pay the referrer directly — bank transfer, voucher, in-kind, whatever you've agreed. We never hold or move money. See §7 of the Terms for the full disclaimer.
Q.04What does it cost?
Free during private beta. Paid plans will launch with at least 30 days' notice and a fair transition path for existing workspaces — we'd rather earn the upgrade than spring it on you.
Q.05Where does my data live?
Singapore (Postgres + app hosting) and Tokyo (transactional email). All encrypted in transit; auth uses HttpOnly + Secure cookies. You can export every record as JSON from /app/settings/privacy, or delete your account with a 30-day grace window. We're PDPA-aligned and GDPR-tolerable.
Q.06Can I use this on my phone?
Yes — Advocato is a PWA. Tap the install button in your browser to add it to your home screen and use it like a native app. The pipeline, swipe-to-move-stage, and the booking flow are all designed mobile-first.
